Haiku Poems
Haiku poems are from Japan. A haiku poem has three lines. The first line has to have five syllables, the second has to have seven and the third has five. Haiku poems paint a picture in your mind. I wrote a haiku poem on birds.

The 5-7-5 syllable configuration of Haiku is the most attractive thing. One could use the first line to introduce the topic, second line to add a little more and finally the third line to conclude
